The area of international energy law remains fairly unexplored. Although there is extensive research on law of-the-sea issues and environmental law concerns, their interrelation with the offshore energy production and transport requirements is sorely lacking, a gap that becomes evident in the present circumstances when increased attention is being paid to offshore energy projects.
The proposed research intends to build on the accumulated experience of the research team members in order to deliver a state-of-the-art final product, which may well serve as a reference work in the field.
The Research Project 'Energy at Sea" is implemented within the framework of the Operational Programme “Education and Lifelong Learning” (Action “ARISTEIA II”) and co-funded by the European Social Fund and National Resources.
